Dance Info

From Cuba, this Latin partner dance is very popular in Singapore and most major cities around the world.  Changing partners in class allows you to make lots of friends while learning this funky and sexy dance.  Learn to sweep her off her feet or charm him with your sexy moves to the hot rhythmic Latin beats; it's sure to make your feet fly!  Stay back after class for practice daily from 9.30pm onwards!

A form of music and dance that originated in the countryside and the rural neighborhoods of the Dominican Republic. Its subjects are often romantic; especially prevalent are tales of heartbreak and sadness. In fact, the original term used to name the genre was amargue ("bitterness," or "bitter music"), until the rather ambiguous (and mood-neutral) term bachata became popular. It has been compared to the blues, although in modern times it bears similarities to R&B.

A slow, sexy dance, Bachata is popular amongst Salsa dancers due to the similarity in moves, but danced to a slower yet more expressive and romantic tune.
